Our client is searching for a Logistics Administrator for their Head Office in Cape Town

Key Performance Areas
Responsible for the full administration function related to logistics department from internal order placement on SAP to stock clearing and delivery into warehouse
Management of master logistics control sheet which involves collaboration with Export and Logistics departments in Europe distribution of updates to team
Ensuring all production orders are shipped to customers in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules
Ensure logistic and stock management SOPs are followed at all times by 3rd party warehousing partner and also internally
Review order confirmations against customer Pos and companys pricing structures freight quotations and logistics related documentation to ensure details are correct and freight options are the most economical for the given context
Proper record keeping on internal company server
Communicating all delays or variances in inbound/ outbound freight to the appropriate parties
In collaboration with warehouse team remote administration management of stock receiving shipping distribution and storage of all freight product and supplies that come in and out of the warehouse
Taking into account full implications of freight turnover size weight and other factors when allocating warehouse space planning shipment arrivals and local dispatch timelines &ndash justintime deliveries
Drive periodic spotchecks of inventory levels on system against physical stock
Identifying discrepancies between inventory records and take appropriate action
Investigating causes of lost or damaged shipments and other matters making adjustments where necessary
Enforcing companys policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements
Matric
Drivers license with own vehicle preferable
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications or a minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in international freight forwarding inbound and outbound liaison with clearing agents and freight companies
Administration or Project Management or equivalent experience
Computer literate with specific reference to SAP Excel & PowerPoint
