Logistic Planning Specialist

Team Overview and Job responsibilities:

We are looking for a Logistic Specialist to join our team.

Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, you will be responsible for balance the resources and demands of the plant according to the Production Plan, and is also responsible for coordinating the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of logistics activities, including logistics planning, planning production lines, making the best use of available resources, by calculating available machine hours, necessary tools, devices and others, aiming to guarantee production in terms of type and quantity, and must guarantee/ensure the deadlines established with internal and external customers, according to plans, goals and pre-established policies. Participate in and carry out the planning of new orders and projects, together with the Commercial/Engineering/Industrial areas.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Define and implement strategies for maintaining FG and WIP inventory levels, in accordance with sales forecasts defined in the annual Management Plan, in order to ensure customer service;

2. Participate in planning meetings (SOP, Pre-SOP) that provide interrelationship between the Commercial and Industrial areas, in order to maintain the balance between customer needs and production capacity;

3. Develop, maintain and optimize production planning and scheduling, materials management and monitoring tools, in order to make the sector's activities agile and accurate;

4. Develop and continually update the Production Planning of the plant under your responsibility in order to meet the delivery deadlines desired by customers and achieve the established service level target;

5. Prepare logistics control, SOP, inventory and production level reports, in order to meet internal decision-making support needs; 6. Align the plant's production needs with the raw material planning in order to meet the established production deadlines;

7. Participate in ACCs/ACOs to understand the customer's needs and define the most appropriate logistics strategy;

8. Define production deadlines to meet the OVs based on manufacturing capacity, labor availability, MP availability and customer needs;

9. Issue OPs (production orders) in SAP with the defined deadlines to formalize the production of MTS and/or MTO orders;

10. Monitor the OP portfolio to ensure compliance with deadlines, predict possible delays and propose corrective or preventive measures, always aligned with the delivery deadline, together with the Commercial Area team;

11. Execute production planning and control, through the analysis of reports with information on sales made, stocks and other relevant data, as well as checking the balance of lines and pre-established time; 12. Perform daily production follow-up, monitoring all phases of the production process to correct possible fluctuations;

13. Position the Commercial and Production Areas regarding the status of products in process, as well as to track the product and identify bottlenecks that may occur during manufacturing, thus allowing actions to reduce "lead time" (total time elapsed from the order's entry into the factory until the final product is released);

14. Participate in daily and weekly meetings with other interfunctional areas, positioning the sales and production portfolio;

15. Check production orders according to the list of materials and correct possible deviations in production when necessary;

16. Participate in internal and external training, as needed, availability or whenever directed by the immediate superior, seeking professional and personal development through technical improvement and updating;

17. Collaborate in the process of maintaining the Integrated Management System adopted by the Company (Quality, Environmental Management and Occupational Health and Safety), becoming aware of the rules and procedures previously established for the Area of ​​activity, as well as ensuring compliance with them, practicing all guidelines and participating in relevant training courses, aiming at the adoption of preventive actions to guarantee good quality, environmental and working conditions in the Company;

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and motivations:

Higher Education. Business Administration, Engineering or Logistics is desirable.Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in related positions such as Logistics/Supply Chain Analyst, PPC Analyst, Logistics/Supply Chain Coordinator, required to master the main activities of the position in conducting and managing activities.English (desirable)
