\nJOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\tAssist management with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.\n\tSupervise store personnel. Ensure the training, development, and performance of their staff to retain a motivated, professional workforce that achieves their career objectives.\n\tEstablish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to their team to assure mutual understanding of desired results. Discipline when necessary.\n\tRecruit and recommend qualified employees for their team’s staff positions.\n\tManage payroll. Approve all time-off requests for direct reports.\n\tResolves internal or external barriers that prohibit successful goal achievement.\n\tConsults with leadership on the development of their team's strategy.\n\tEnsure an appropriate resolution of operational customer concerns in management’s absence.\n\tEnsure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors by identifying and rectifying hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics, and maintaining store equipment in proper working order.\n\tTake inventory counts according to guidelines and assists management with maintaining proper stock levels through appropriate product ordering.\n\tEstablishing and managing delivery schedules and night call rotations.\n\tWork with sales staff.\n\tEnsures employees comply with all established company policies and procedures.\n\tAssists management with achieving the store payroll and budget.\n\tManages team by driving projects and tasks to completion through effective prioritization, work planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration.\n\tProvide prompt and courteous customer service.\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication.\n\tUnderstand and applies management principles concerning budgeting, personnel costs, and overtime expenses.\n\n
\nOTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n\tOther duties can and will arise, and candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.\n\n
\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\n\n\n\tHigh School diploma or GED.\n\n
\nREQUIREMENTS\n\n\n\tMust have job experience in the automotive industry and knowledge to manage a large retail or commercial location.\n\tFlexible schedule to cover store hours.\n\tMust be 18 years of age.\n\tMust have a valid driver’s license.\n\tStrong work ethic, strong customer service skills, and a high level of professional integrity.\n\tAbility to work both independently and within a team environment.\n\n
