Lobby Services Attendant
Title: Lobby Services Attendant Location: Upper East Side Org Unit: Housing-Main Campus Work Days: Weekdays and some weekends Weekly Hours: 35.00 Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $21.70 - $24.29 *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices **Position Summary** Under direct supervision, is responsible for providing clerical support and monitoring access within his/her assigned building **Job Responsibilities** + Assists with orienting and training new staff on policies and procedures. + Monitors access to the property and checks for valid identification. + Greets all residents and guests upon entry. Announces and registers guests. Monitors the arrival and departure of vendors or contractors. + Ensures safety of residents. Responds to emergency situations and regulates unauthorized activity. Escalates issues as needed. + Receives, sorts and distributes mail within the department. Accepts and signs for package deliveries. + Ensures that the Lobby Desk is secured and attended to at all times. + Distributes communications and correspondence to building residents. + Maintains a log of shift activity.
