Loan Operations Specialist I

Position Description:

Job Purpose and Scope:

 

To perform a variety of daily back office loan functions.  This includes assisting new and existing branch locations with performing daily transactions, maintenances and other responsibilities in a professional and accurate manner according to policy and procedures. 

 

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

General loan file maintenance, coupon requests and code changesBook Secondary Market, New Start, CRA and Personal LoansSet up payments via ACH and check by phoneProcess requests for charge offs, repossessions and late fee waiversProcess loan loss/bankruptcy paymentsLoan payoff quotesPost incoming wiresFile and/or scan documentsSupport Loan Officers, Loan Assistance and other front line staffPost loan payments by mailProcess credit verification requestsProcess returned mailProcess returned checksReview all work from previous day for accuracyMaintain good punctuality and attendance at work

 

 

Marginal Duties:

 1.    Other duties as assigned.
