Job details Under direct supervision, assist Mortgage Loan Originators with variety of tasks in order to ensure smooth and profitable operations of Mortgage Loan Originator. Gather all types of financial and other information from members and outside agencies for analysis and underwriting of consumer loans.

Responsibilities: ... - Attend closings at title companies in Loan Originators absence. Answer member questions and obtain signature on ACH payment form.
- Review documents with members as well as obtaining all required signatures in the appropriate areas on documents requiring signatures.
- Request and follow-up on homeowner's insurance, homeowner's association insurance and flood insurance, as well as verification of mortgagee clause information and loan number.
- Maintain license as Notary Public for the State of Montana.
- Communicate with borrowers regarding loan process, timelines, documentation needed including providing encrypted link to upload financial information.
- Answer questions related to the various disclosures that are sent to members including e sign and DocuSign.
- Research and obtain subject property information from available sources Cadastral, county sites, listing information, property tax bill. Upload to borrower folder and Image Flow.
- Prepare journal tickets as needed for loan officer-controlled disbursements approved by Loan Originator or for loan fees prepaid by the borrower.
- Assist Loan Originator in preparing modification request to be sent to Credit Admin or Underwriting as needed with all applicable documentation for modification requests, balloon renewals and term extensions.
- Refer member information to a MSR to open an account with the Credit Union.
- Prepare and review loan files and evaluate for completeness.
- Assist in preparing Appraisal Request Form and Property Summary Form.
- Answer phone and greet walk-in members in a competent and professional manner. Direct all inquiries to appropriate personnel and take messages for originators.
- Coordinate appointments for Mortgage Loan Originators; prepare internal documents, type letters, and spreadsheets if applicable.
- Review credit report to address any discrepancies, red flags, alerts, and address action taken in the form of a loan note.
- Follow up on issues relating to debit/credits to Member accounts as requested by the member or the responsible Mortgage Loan Originator.
- Scan and upload documents to the correct categories of the imaging system in preparation for assignment to loan underwriting and loan processing.
- Assist as needed in closing process, including notifying the borrower of Closing Disclosure delivery and tracking for timely signing, 3 days prior to closing.
- Report to work on time and as scheduled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing and over the phone with all internal and external stakeholders. Courtesy and tact are essential.
- Ability and willingness to interact calmly and professionally with people from all backgrounds.
