THE ROLE
The Sous Chef is responsible for all food and food related costs, procedures, quality, and all back of house labor percentage and budgets
What You Need:

Assist and support kitchen management in any of their job functions, as neededWork with Executive Chef to schedule shifts for kitchen staffEnsure that there is no unapproved overtime on shiftCheck labor daily in Labor Management systemPerform all opening and closing kitchen supervisory tasksEnsure positive and creative team environment within departmentFacilitate open communication with the Sous Chefs, supervisors and staffFacilitate proper inter-departmental communications and organizationPerform timely staff evaluations (training and annual). Set written development and performance goals for all team members, and monitor progressAssure complete and satisfactory on-going staff training per corporate training programEnsure appropriate staffing levels. The expected compensation for this position is:
$54,000.00 USD - $68,000.00 USD** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
