THE JOB

As a member of the Venue Nation IT team, the Implementations Manager will join a talented, diversified team that supports all technologies at Live Nation Venues. As a member of the team, the Implementations Manager will take direction from leadership and help coordinate efforts with internal support teams and strategic vendors to ensure that the company is a technology leader in the live entertainment space and delivering differentiated value to our Venues, Artists, and Fans. This person will ideally have experience with venue-related applications and technologies – particularly Point of Sale systems and Digital Signage technologies.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Establish and maintain business relationships with senior level internal and external partnersManage the evaluation and deployment of Point of Sale and Digital Signage systemsThoroughly understand Venue environments and Operations through strategic site visitsHelp align broad engagements into appropriate, actionable work streams Schedule regular cadence meetings to gather application and project requirements, provide updates, and establish a responsibility matrix for follow-up itemsDevelops key performance indicators to measure and report on the health and operational stability of the infrastructure servicesMonitor implementation progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Outstanding customer service etiquette through written and verbal communicationsExtensive experience working with vendors and ensuring successful delivery of services and resultsExperience with and knowledge of current Point of Sale system technology, including hardware, software, transactional and operational elementsExperience / familiarity with Digital Signage operations and technologiesAbility to elicit cooperation from management and other departmentsAbility to reprioritize tasks rapidly without missing deadlines in an ever-changing businessIdentify risk of missing deadlines and collaboratively resolve conflictsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills to work effectively with teams throughout organizationStrong vision setting, concept articulation, and exceptional communications skills (presentation and written) that would facilitate effective partnering with internal customers, critical stakeholders, and technical leadership teamsAbility to coordinate and collaborate with geographically diverse staff and resources in both daily operations and event support

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of working experience in a customer driven support role for an organization similar to our sizeExperience in deploying, working with and/or supporting Point of Sale systemsGeneral understanding of network topology and componentsUnderstanding in reading floorplans and technical drawings preferred.Ability to exercise sound and mature judgment in complex, high pressure situations.Strong oral and written communication skillsMust be a self-starter with the ability to work well within a team environmentProficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and ExcelExperience with Digital Signage systems and technologies preferredFamiliarity with the Zendesk ticketing platform including navigation and reporting preferred.
