Content Marketer to work cross-functionally and globally across Amazon to develop content and assets to promote Amazon Ads’ Live Sports and Entertainment video offering.
As the STV/Video Content Marketer, you will be part of the Amazon Ads’ Live Sports and Entertainment Marketing team and help build the future of our video offering. In this exciting and highly visible global role, you will partner with stakeholders across Amazon (Prime Video, Amazon Studios, Twitch, etc.) to develop and deliver cohesive and impactful go-to-market (GTM) sales and marketing content and assets promoting our global video programs.
We are looking for an accomplished STV B2B marketer to partner with Sales, Marketing, Events, Programming, Production, Legal, and PR teams around the globe to ensure there’s awareness, coordination, and alignment in developing best-in-class content and assets. This candidate should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and influence stakeholders at all levels. You will have a strategic mindset and the ability to get in the weeds to execute at the tactical level and keep the trains running on-time. This candidate will have familiarity with both the sports and entertainment media industry and understand the nuances of STV/Video advertising to build and execute a roadmap and repository of content deliverables that position Amazon’s offerings to the advertising marketplace.
This role will work with stakeholders and leadership to create content for our owned media channels (website, social, events, etc.) and internal leadership updates, while also providing support and guidance to global teams for direct-to customer activations. You will leverage your experience and creativity to develop pithy messaging, high quality creative assets, and experiential activations that will resonate with internal and external customers and push the boundaries of traditional B2B marketing. They will systematically gain input and alignment across the org, regularly update materials and content, remove any roadblocks, drive strong internal communications, and relentlessly focus on the customer experience. Candidate should have a keen eye for design and creative, along with robust brand storytelling experience and high attention to detail.
The right candidate will have strong STV/Video media and/or marketing background (in both sports and entertainment) and deep understanding of how to effectively position media properties to marketing decision makers. Experience working with Product, Measurement, and Sales teams to craft storytelling narratives is key. This role will work closely with Prime Video, Amazon Studios, and Amazon Ads’ PR, Editorial, Events, and Social teams to extend the brand narrative to earned channels and Amazon Ads’ owned channels.
Experience with video creation is preferred. This role requires a self-starter who is results oriented and pushes to uphold the highest standard on all elements of execution. You will be comfortable with immense ambiguity, have the ability to simplify the complex, and be passionate about leading complex workstreams execute long-term strategies from start to finish. It is an individual contributor role with the opportunity to grow.
Key job responsibilities
-8+ years of B2B content and/or marketing experience
-Live sports industry experience within media organizations
-Global marketing experience (understands the nuances of regional marketing)
-Brand positioning and storytelling experience
-Extensive background in deck and presentation building
-Strong familiarity with PowerPoint; Adobe Photoshop is a plus
-Comfortable working with and presenting to Leadership
