Live Out Senior Housekeeper Job in Pimlico / Victoria area

A lovely client of ours is looking for an experienced and professional Senior Housekeeper to join their small household team. 

They have a teenage child who is at boarding school and grown-up children who no longer live at home but come to visit from time to time. 

Two lovely dogs complete the family. The family employs another two Housekeepers, a Laundress, a PA and a House Manager who you will report to.

Duties to include:

Shared cleaning – to include care of antiques and fine modern furniture Making beds and changing bed linen  Organising cupboards and keeping the house tidy Periodical deep cleaning  Occasionally help when they entertain Managing the other Housekeepers  A light cooking on the days the housekeeper who normally cooks for the family is off

 The ideal candidate for this role will have a high standard of work, an eye for detail, discreet, trustworthy, honest and reliable.

 House: 5 storeys, 5 bedrooms

Days and Hours: 45 hours per week, 5 days a week with 3 rota shifts which are 8 am – 5 pm; 9 am – 6 pm and 11 am – 8 pm (mostly the 8-5 shift is required)

You will be required in a month to work one weekend both Saturday and Sunday, then the following weekend work Saturday all day, then the following weekend work Sunday all day and the fourth weekend you will have both days off. On those weeks when you work the weekend, you will have your two days off during the week.

For any excess hours worked, you will receive time off in lieu and you may be required to work different hours when necessary.

The House Manager would always try to keep the Housekeepers to the same shift pattern but there might be occasions that the Housekeepers will have to cover other shifts, like holiday cover or events at the house. 

Salary: up to £45,000 -£48,000 gross per annum based on experience
