Housekeeper Job in Mayfair, London

A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking a professional and experienced Housekeeper for their four-floor residence in Mayfair. The ideal candidate should be flexible, have a strong work ethic, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation. The household currently employs a house manager and a cleaner.

Duties to include:

Clean all living and work areas daily, including bathrooms, kitchens, and supply closets. Deep cleaning of surfaces, such as specialised materials (marble, granite, etc.). Conducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning. Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (including hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels) Taking out the garbage. Carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats and unclogging sinks. Reporting any major maintenance issues or necessary repairs to the House Manager. Laundry duties for household and guests, including washing and ironing. Assisting with household organisation, including pantry stocking, general tidiness and ad hoc closet organisation. Careful handling and cleaning of delicate fabrics and high-end and luxury furnishings.

Candidates must have proven experience in a similar role and checkable references. The client seeks discreet, trustworthy candidates who demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nearest station: Green Park

House: 4 floors residence (3 floors in regular use)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 3 pm

Salary: Negotiable
