Live in Caretaker/Security Job in Suffolk

This is a fabulous opportunity to work for a returning client of Greycoat’s. The Estate compromises a stunning period grade I listed property on 4 acres of land in the desirable East Anglia countryside, not too far from the coast.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, conscientious, energetic, flexible and a dog lover. The role would suit someone who enjoys a quiet rural life.

The couple have a Dog and there are 4 Alpacas on the estate. Also employed is a Gardener and Cleaners.

Responsibilities:

Security of the estate on a daily basis Daily dog care (dog walking twice daily, feeding, liaising with the vets if required) Feeding the 4 Alpacas Checking that the house heating system is functioning normally Swimming pool maintenance Liaising with contractors and tradespeople Daily Rubbish disposal Occasional food shopping and running local errands Occasional driving duties (station runs etc) Collecting post daily and taking deliveries Monitoring the comings and goings on the estate and letting in visitors by prearrangement Optional mowing of extensive lawns, on an hourly paid basis Minor repairs and some DIY

Accommodation: 1 bedroom cottage on the estate. Bills are paid. Also provided is a car, for the successful candidate, that can be used for work and personal use. The employer will be responsible for all costs relating to the vehicle, apart from fuel costs, for personal use.

Working days: 24/7 security position

Driving: Full clean driving licence is necessary for the role.

Start: Flexible for the right candidate

Salary: £15,000 - £20,000 gross per annum, negotiable depending on experience
