Your New Role...
Warner Bros. Discovery is the world’s #1 pay-tv programmer reaching 2.7 billion cumulative subscribers in more than 220 countries and territories, and the Global Technology & Operations team, of which the Live Events Operator is a member, provides the technological infrastructure and operations to ensure that audiences can enjoy WBD’s programming around the world and across platforms.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Hands-on contributor to live event execution, including but not limited to, acting as AD, TD, graphics operator, S&P delay operator, and/or ingest operator; including signal QC and routingWork in accordance with Network and Digital clients with a professional, poised demeanor under pressureAssist in documenting and distributing live event SOPsAttend/participate in client creative & production meetings (when schedule allows) to gather requirements and provide operational inputBe a hands-on contributor/collaborator/tester of innovation and implementation of new/revised live capabilities based on new technology integration and client/business initiativesSupport digital partners as needed for live events and other endeavorsPartner closely with Engineering, TOC, and IT to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues surrounding live eventsTrain live event operators as neededAll other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experiences...

Ability and desire to work in support of a 24/7 environment, including weekends, nights, and holidaysMinimum of 2 years of live operations or master control experienceBroadcast Playout Automation experienceMust possess excellent organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in computer knowledgeMust be able to handle high pressure multi-tasking situations while acting in a professional mannerThis position is considered an essential role. This means that during times of inclement weather, emergencies, pandemics, or when access to the workplace may be impeded, that employees in this position are expected to report to work to support business continuity, unless otherwise instructed by their direct managerMust have the legal right to work in the United States

Desirable requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts or Radio/TV/Film preferred; or equivalent experienceFluency in SpanishExperience or knowledge of global sportsAwareness of global television compliance needs Interest in technology and learning new things IT or Engineering experience
