LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Location: Hartford, CT

 

Our client, a well-respected AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their growing Hartford office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned attorneys.

 

Candidate Profile: JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials. Bar Admission in Connecticut. 1–3 years of substantive litigation experience within a law firm setting, handling matters in both state and federal courts. Strong analytical and legal writing skills, with a keen eye for detail. Prior clerkship experience and knowledge of employment law issues are valuable, but not required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

 

Key Responsibilities: Handle a wide range of litigation matters, including research, drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda. Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice. Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation. Manage multiple client matters in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality legal work. Provide exceptional client service by effectively communicating case progress and legal strategies.
