Silgan Closures Evansville, IN is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in our Lithography Department. This position will provide mechanical expertise

•   Rate of pay begins at $27.75/hour with $1 differential for hours worked on 2nd or 3rd shift.

What you'll need to have:

•   3-5 years proven mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment or proven experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, belts and pulleys.

•   Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills.

•   Proven mechanical aptitude.

•   High School diploma or equivalent.

What you'll do:

•   Work from blueprints, sketches, sample parts or verbal instructions.

•   Install, maintain, adjust and/or repair all equipment, i.e., feeders, stackers, conveyors, belts, printing presses, mixers, coaters, ovens, etc. in and associated with the Lithography Department.

•   Check machines, analyze any and all types of mechanical or operational troubles and plan for and take corrective action.

•   Mount and cut or grind coater rolls on powered Lathe.

•   Preventative maintenance.

•   Weld as required
