ASRC Federal InuTeq is seeking a Linux System Engineer to join our team on an enterprise-grade cloud computing environment where we support over 300 hypervisors and multiple file systems totaling nearly 9 petabytes of raw storage in support of NASA's Center for Climate Simulation (NCCS) project. ASRC Federal InuTeq provides High Performance Computing services throughout the HPC lifecycle for computational requirements, architecture, acquisition, and operations to federal government customers. Day to day operations of the Linux hypervisor clusters and storage systems Proactively monitor, analyze and correct system issues Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks or tools to enhance support of virtualized systems System performance analysis and tuning Building, installing, and supporting user requested software Support compute and storage technology evaluations and assessments Provide significant user support in resolving issues and managing support ticket requests
