System Administrator/Developer

We are seeking a hard-working and self-driven System Administrator/Developer to help us continue pioneering next-generation clinical software systems. Role Overview:

Configure the REDCap System to ensure robustness, security, and compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, including validation of system compliance.Perform application configuration, monitor, maintain, and test application performance by ensuring reliable operation for all users, and troubleshooting system failures or computer hardware and software issues.Upgrade REDCap application and coordinate server patching to improve functionality, installation, and the testing of new or changed hardware/software as well as responding to and resolving end user-reported issues.Implement and follow the standard methodologies in software development, code versioning, software testing, and deployment. Take part in code reviews, build/release management, and other R&D discussions.

 Key Qualifications:

4-6 year’s experience in Linux/Windows system administrationSolid understanding of Apache server management and Red Hat Linux EnterpriseProficiency in MySQL/MariaDB database server platformsExperience/understanding of Active Directory/LDAPExperience with HIPPA Data Privacy policies/regulations preferred.Exposure to full stack development using some combination of these technologies PHP/Python, Flask/Spring/Django, MySQL/MongoDB.

A team player, and passionate about learning new technologies/methodologies.Interested in understanding domain, building, and delivering customer-centric products.Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and eager to solve complex problems.An effective communicator and possess team and customer-focused competency.Resilient in recovering from setbacks and skilled at finding detours around problems.

Location: 633 Third Avenue, NY Reporting to Senior Manager, Clinical Research IT Software EngineeringSchedule: Onsite once a week

Pay Range: $98,500 - $157,600
