Disney Aviation Group provides air transportation to support needs of The Walt Disney Company and conduct operations to the highest safety standards. The Line Services Assistant is responsible for the servicing support for all Disney Aviation Group aircraft, scheduled charter aircraft, and support for all facility maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities:

Marshaling planes during arrivals and departuresGreeting pilots, passengers and crewTowing aircraftProviding basic service for aircraft, e.g., cleaning, fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc.Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles and equipmentTransporting clients and assisting with baggageEnsuring hangars, tarmac and client areas are kept clean and orderlyEnsuring a safe environment by complying with BUR Airport procedures, rules, and regulationsMaintaining hangar and office facilitiesMaintaining ground support equipmentProviding all around top-quality serviceManage aircraft refueling and quality control functionsCoordinate with aircraft scheduling and executive security team.Coordinating aircraft ramp activity with neighbor operator/tenantsAssist Crew Chiefs with inspections and maintenanceManaging Hazardous Waste & MaterialsManaging and scheduling BUR Airport maintenance.Managing and scheduling facility related vendorsManaging and scheduling aircraft cleaning related vendors.

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years’ experience in aviation line service activitiesMust be willing to work any shift in a 7-day operation, including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipReliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the positionA valid clear driver's licenseMust be able to lift 50 pounds regularly

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalentThe hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $64,300 to $86,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
