International Smoke San Francisco is the wildly popular collaboration between award-winning Chef Michael Mina and entrepreneur Ayesha Curry. Inspired by Curry and Mina’s shared love of global travels and international cooking techniques, International Smoke ignites a new spark of flavor and creativity focused on wood-fired steaks, seafood, ribs, and vegetarian entrees to create flavorful dishes that are craveable worldwide. Our ideal candidate is:
A motivated culinary professional who is organized, detail oriented and
knowledgeable. You will be an integral part of our kitchen team with a passion for
food and a guest first mentality. You have amazing attention to detail, work well
as part of a team, and work well under pressure. You uphold culinary standards of
excellence and are comfortable working on multiple stations in the kitchen. You
have a strong desire to learn and build your culinary skillset.

What you bring to the table:

2-4 years’ experience in a fine dining or casual fine dining high volume kitchenAM availability Ability to communicate effectively with management, guests, and your peersExtensive knowledge of food and cooking techniques including knifework, plating, portioning, and precision cookingA positive, “can do” attitudeKnowledge of kitchen safety protocolsAbility to learn and retain information quicklyIntellectual curiosityAbility to work clean, organized, and as part of a teamAble to move and lift 40 pounds at a timeAt least 18 years of ageMust be able to stand and walk for an extended period

Salary range: $22/hr.
