PRIMARY FUNCTION:                     

Primarily responsible for separating meat so there is one piece in each tray. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.    

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:                        

Separate meat so there is one piece in each tray. Take off excess and add back meat to keep trays full. Looks for bones or other defects in product. Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkersDo all tasks assigned by members of managementMust be able to follow directions and work in other departments as needed.Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent.Relative poultry industry experience.Basic math functions and skills.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC)Ability to stand for an 8 hour shiftWill be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production
