ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Lighting Assistant to join our team!

YOUR DAY-DAY:

Hang, power and focus light fixtures

Raising faders on lighting boards for shows

Position floor lights

Troubleshoot problems such as loss of power or data

YOU HAVE:

Associates Degree in Television Production or equivalent work experience

Working knowledge of computers and Windows operating systems

General knowledge of lighting equipment such as lighting consoles and lighting fixtures including conventional, LED and intelligent lighting

Familiarity with proper safety procedures such as use of harnesses and other personal protective equipment; correct use of lifts and lifting techniques

Ability to climb a ladder

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Must be able to perform work at heights above 30’

Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)

1-2 years of experience with live studio broadcast

Comfortable with all aspects of the production

Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent listening skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize

Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
