Job Description: Summary: + The main function of a CDL driver is to drive and operate vehicles that require a class B CDL license. + This role is directly involved in all phases of customer delivery, inventory management, and customer interaction Job Responsibilities: + Pick up and transport goods and cargo to predetermined destinations. + Assist with loading and unloading of cargo. + Track and report working hours + Pre and Post inspection of the assigned vehicle each day for mechanical and safety issues. + Notify management if preventative maintenance is required/due + Ensure all necessary documents and billing paperwork is present for each delivery/shipment + Reach destinations within assigned timelines and verify receipt of delivery according to company protocols + Report any incidents encountered on the road, and follow accident procedures if an accident occurs. + Maintain logs if required (paper or electronic) Skills: + Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, team player and problem solving skills. + Time management skills. Education/Experience: + High school diploma or equivalent + Valid Class A/B CDL License (without any major infractions) + 0-2 years experience.
