Description Highly skilled mechanic who safely perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair of light duty vehicles and equipment which may include quarter to one ton pickup trucks, skid steers, fork lifts, boom trucks, lube trucks or other light duty equipment. Performs diagnostic, replacement and repairs on, but not limited to: Engines, transmissions and transaxles, manual drive train and axles, suspension, steering, brakes, clutches, AC units and electric motorsPrioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair as neededPerforms mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance to include: Oil and lube service, coolant system flush, transmissions services, filter and gasket checks, checking of water pumps, thermostats, belts, radiator hoses and clutch fansTrain and mentor other employeesPerform welding, such as: carbon arc, and MigMay operate equipment such as: forklifts, cranes, and small mobile equipmentAct as a Fill-in Supervisor as neededResponsible for maintaining work orders, a clean and safe work area and performing work area inspectionsPerform other duties as requiredQualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years ofexperience in light duty mechanical/maintenance or a combination of education and experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenanceKnowledge of general to advanced electricalAbility to read schematics

Preferred

High School diploma or GEDASE certificationsKnowledge and ability to use various computer aided diagnostic tools

What We Offer You 

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $27.00 - $37.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
