About the Role:
As a Lifestyle Carer at Anglicare Sydney, you will play a crucial role in enriching the lives of our residents by promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. You will work closely with our residents to develop and implement individual lifestyle plans that support their personal interests, abilities, and goals. Your compassionate and patient approach will help create a warm and welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for.
About You:
Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification(desirable).Experience in aged care or disability support is highly desirable.A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence.Alignment with Anglicare’s Christian ethos and values.Benefits:

Develop and implement lifestyle programs tailored to the needs and preferences of residents.Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and social engagement.Encourage and support residents to participate in recreational and leisure activities.Monitor and document residents' progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.Collaborate with the broader care team to provide holistic support to residents.Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere within the care facility.What to expect when you apply:
