Position: Seasonal Lifeguard

Lake Monticello Pool is a vibrant and welcoming community facility committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors. As a lifeguard, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our guests while making great memories this summer.

Responsibilities:

Monitor activities in and around the swimming area to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies. Enforce all safety rules and facility policies with professionalism and courtesy. Perform water rescues and administer first aid/CPR when necessary. Conduct routine safety checks of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns. Assist with pool maintenance, chemical management, and cleanup, including keeping the pool deck tidy and organized.
 

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years old.
  Current lifeguard certification from the Red Cross or a recognized organization (or willingness to complete certification before start date).
  Certified in CPR/AED and First Aid.
  Strong swimming skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during the summer season.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior lifeguard experience is a plus but not required.
  Knowledge of water safety and rescue techniques.
