LifeCare Specialist

 The LifeCare Specialist will work closely with the external and internal sales organization of John Hancock to execute the distribution and sales strategy for the LifeCare product. This role involves active engagement with existing key relationships and building new customer connections within the John Hancock distribution model. Key responsibilities include effective communication of the LifeCare product/process, aligning customer sales strategies with John Hancock's, and identifying partnership opportunities to drive sales volume and growth. The position reports directly to the Specialty Markets Leader and requires a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape.

This role is crucial in driving the sales and distribution of the LifeCare product, directly contributing to the growth and success of John Hancock's insurance offerings. By effectively managing relationships and communication, the LifeCare Specialist ensures that customers receive the best possible service and support, enhancing overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.

*Open to all US candidates. Remote/home office setup with 50% travel required.

Position Responsibilities:

Provide ongoing sales and marketing support for John Hancock’s hybrid LTC product, LifeCare, within respective territory’s BGA and IMO offices.Serve as the point person for BGA offices and Producers in marketing, educational opportunities, sales, underwriting, and process support.Conduct competitor analysis and communicate LifeCare's value proposition effectively.Collaborate with key centers of influence to identify marketing opportunities within the territory.Coordinate and conduct virtual and in-person marketing activities and wholesaling initiatives.Communicate consistently with John Hancock RVPs and RDs about activities within the territory to drive Life Insurance and LifeCare sales.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years direct selling in the hybrid Life/LTC sales experience​Life & Health licensed, Long-Term Care State Training Requirements, FINRA Series 6 or 7 & 63.​Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.Direct experience in the LTC space with a peer carrier or distribution partner.Self-motivated leader with strong technical skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Ability to motivate others, establish trust and credibility, and inspire dedication.
