Inviting applications for the role of Life Sciences Analytics Manager, Data Engineer
We are looking for a Data Engineer who would be responsible to lead business intelligence and analytics projects for a life sciences account. The Data Engineer will be responsible for working with business stakeholders to deliver end to end business intelligence and analytics projects.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver business solution on analytics platform through end-to-end implementation that includes data security, governance, cataloging, preparation, automated testing and data quality metrics
· Contribute towards building high performing platform/product DevOps agile teams
· Automate, optimize, migrate and enhance existing solutions
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• BE/B- Tech, BCA, MCA, BSc/MSc, MBA
• Has worked extensively in AWS, Scala, Python, Spark and PL/SQL in life sciences analytics space
• Relevant experience in IT industry
• Automate, optimize, migrate and enhance existing solutions
• Experience in data engineering which includes data ingestion, preparation, curation, provisioning, automated testing, and quality checks.
• Hands on experience in Big Data, Analytics, Big Data cloud platforms, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses
• Good understanding of RDBMS and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Relevant experience in writing code in spark engine using python, Scala or java
• Highly skilled in AWS Services like Glue, CloudWatch, EMR, S3, SNS, SQS, Athena, Lambda, and Step functions
• Experience with perform data modeling, data analysis and providing insights using various tools.
• Experience in working as part of agile teams and using agile and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence.
• Good analytical skills and ability to do impact assessments
• Ability to work in a team-based environment, as well as the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively with people of many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience

• Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
