CP Unlimited is currently seeking a full time Building Maintenance Supervisor to conduct field inspections insuring adherence to all applicable Life Safety Codes throughout our Agency. The Building Maintenance Supervisor will supervise mechanics insuring repairs and/or upgrades are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The Building Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible to write work orders as needed for any repairs or deficiencies noted from site inspections and insures the State Audit violations are corrected per Agency guidelines. The Building Maintenance Supervisor provides preventative maintenance, which includes fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems and emergency generators as needed and assists in estimates for labor and material costs where applicable. The Building Maintenance Supervisor investigates all accidents causing injury and/or mechanic failures and ensures corrective action is taken.
Position Requirements:
Two (2) Years College (Associate’s Degree) or equivalent in engineering discipline, Building construction, facilities management, or certified superintendent or has held NY or NJ Contractors License,
Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.
Knowledge of building construction.
Knowledge of and/ or ability to learn all aspects of LSC.
PC Skills, including Microsoft Office 2000 (Word & Excel)
Good communication skills.
Familiar with trade-tools and equipment for the various trades.
Valid driver’s license, within CP Insurance limitations. Willing to drive to/from all agencies’ facilities.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Certificate of Fitness; S-95:
Supervision of Fire Alarm Systems and Other Related Systems Certificate of Fitness; S-11: Residential Sprinkler Systems.
