Licensing Compliance Specialist

About the role

As a Licensing Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for handling licensing activities related to surplus lines as well as property & casualty and accident & health, for all surplus lines licensed agencies and employees across AIG. A primary responsibility will be to interact with all levels of management, legal, and our licensing vendor. A high attention to detail and accuracy is a must for this position.

Role responsibilities

Onboarding of new licensees; name & address changesUpdate database with new licensees & renewed license infoSetting up pre-licensing trainingMonitoring timely license issuance & renewals and continuing education completionHandling of bonds, affiliations/endorsements/appointments, & SLA memberships; D&O & DRLP changesValidation & payment of invoicesLiaison between 3rd-party licensing vendor, legal, and agencyMaintenance of Licensing Team MailboxHR & Termination Reports & lettersNY cyber report

What we’re looking for3+ years relevant experience with licensingInsurance experience or experience with surplus lines a plusP&C license a plusGreat communication, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and with a high-level of attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work with various organizational levelsProficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
