We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services to clients in residential care facilities, behavioral health, and/or substance use disorder treatment programs. The LPN will ensure a safe and therapeutic environment while delivering high-quality nursing care. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, staff, and providers to support outpatient psychiatry, addiction recovery, and housing services.

Administer medications via oral, injectable, and other methods as required.Document all medication administration accurately and according to policies.Monitor medication refills and house stock; prepare pass medications as needed.Nursing Assessments and Documentation:
Conduct physical and mental health assessments and psychiatric screenings.Complete nursing assessments and safety plans in a timely manner.Maintain up-to-date and accurate medical and medication records.Client Interaction and Education:
Address client questions regarding medications and treatment plans.Facilitate nursing-led educational groups as assigned.Room clients, verify data, and obtain necessary vitals and samples.Infectious Disease Control and Facility Health:
Oversee infectious disease control measures and ensure client hygiene.Serve as a resource for nursing and medical issues under nursing leadership.Team Collaboration:
Participate in meetings and collaborate with nursing leadership and team members.Communicate client needs and updates effectively with the care team.Lab and Phlebotomy Duties:
Perform general lab and phlebotomy duties, ensuring adherence to protocols.Education and/or Experience Qualifications:Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice.Graduation from an accredited practical nurse program.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Technical Proficiency: Accurate documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) navigation.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, staff, and stakeholders.Problem Solving: Capable of addressing and resolving clinical and operational challenges.Detail-Oriented: Ensures accurate record-keeping and medication administration.Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates compassion and professionalism in client interactions.Mathematical Competence: Basic math skills for medication calculations.Confidentiality: Adheres to HIPAA and organizational confidentiality standards.Employment Requirements:Successful completion of background checks, including criminal, driving, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks.Completion of New Hire Orientation and mandatory training (e.g., Relias) at the start of employment.Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.Certification in First Aid and CPR within the first three months of employment.Completion of 40 hours of related training annually.Physical Requirements:ADA Consideration:Sedentary work with occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds.Frequent use of hands and arms for typing, writing, and other repetitive motions.Primarily seated work but may require standing or walking briefly.Brightli’s Mission:Brightli is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
