Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture to draw blood, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to safety protocols. Comply with all regulatory agency requirements, including OSHA, CLIA, and PA Department of Health standards. Administer various medications, including oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and IV drip, following established guidelines. Assist physicians during examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatment interventions to ensure optimal patient care. Assess patients’ overall condition by taking vital signs and recording weight to monitor health status. Adhere strictly to all organizational policies and procedures to maintain a safe and effective healthcare environment. Perform IV therapy under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Document all clinical activities, patient and family responses, and medications dispensed in the medical record while maintaining strict confidentiality.
