Responsibilities:Install new equipmentRebuild and/or repair of equipment as specifiedMaintain all required documentation, service records and logsMake recommendations for improvements, modification, upgrades and report findings to Supervisor on a timely basisAssist with diagnosis, major overhauls, modifications and alterations as requiredEnsure the safe operation of each work area and each work projectAssist with general cleaning, inspection and reassemble equipment as neededResponsible for assisting with preventative maintenance programAssist with seasonal staff as required
Qualifications:Licensed PlumberValid Ontario driver’s licensePast experience in a diverse industrial environment an assetStrong communication skills both written and oralExcellent knowledge of the current Code Past experience with a large facility, pool maintenance and sewage systems an assetPast Experience with blueprints, preventative maintenance and repairsAbility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as requiredProven abilities to problem solve, trouble-shoot and work with deadlinesOwnership of tools and safety boots a mustAbility to work outdoors in all types of weather conditionsRequired to meet the physical demands of the job including; weights of up to 23kg, heights of 106m,Frequent standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crawling and ability to work with ladders and heights

This is a year-round, full-time career opportunity with benefits in the Canada's Wonderland Utilities Department.
CANDIDATE PROFILE: The ideal candidate is a licensed plumber with solid experience in a diverse industrial environment. Swimming Pool maintenance and Operation experience along with strong problem solving skills is an asset. This individual must be able to assist with new equipment installation and work on repairs and preventative maintenance while assisting with projects as assigned.
SCOPE OF POSITION: A “hands-on” individual who is responsible to assist with the maintenance and installation of all plumbing needs for the Utilities Department.
