Licensed Mental Health Professional for the Emergency Room at Providence St Vincent Medical Center, in Portland, OR.

Full-Time/Night Shift 

This is a combined posting for a Social Worker LCSW and a Licensed Professional Counselor.

The Licensed Professional Counselor practices in a treatment setting under clinical supervision and is dedicated to evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders. The Licensed Professional Counselor will collaborate with patient/support system to evaluate and diagnose patients. This position will provide specialized psychotherapy services, as described in the CPT, to reduce and /or resolve symptoms of psychiatric and/or substance use disorders identified.

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Counseling, Counseling Psychology or related field Upon hire: Oregon Professional Counselor License 

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internship. Additional experience in substance use treatment setting.
