The role you’ll contribute:

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is to minimize psychosocial stressors that have a negative impact on patient health. The LCSW works as a member of the primary care team providing psychosocial assessments, substance abuse consultation and referrals, brief therapeutic interventions, education, short term follow up and consultation to medical providers. LCSWs may also be asked to develop and/or facilitate psycho educational support groups. They also provide outpatient individual, family and collateral therapy to children and adults.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications:

Master of Social Work or Doctor of Social Work from an NASW accredited university

Two years full time experience providing clinical counseling as a CSW or LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker Board Certification in state of Kentucky

Preferred qualifications:

Three years full time experience providing clinical counseling as a CSW or LCSW
