Position Summary:
The Licensed Client Service Administrator (CSA) position is critical for achieving leverage of the advisor’s time. This position supports daily operations of the practice including providing licensed support, responding to client service requests, completing post meeting work, maintaining client information and confidentiality, and other administrative tasks as assigned. The Licensed Client Service Administrator reports to and is employed by Focus Financial Group. Thrivent Investment Management Inc. is the sponsor for FINRA registration. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is the sponsor for insurance licensure.

Compensation for this position is $24-$28 dependent upon licensing and experience. Benefits include Simple IRA with match, PTO, 7 Major Holidays.

Job Description

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Drive client facing activity in the practice by scheduling meetings with clients and prospective clients.Prepare correspondence, reports, and coordinate special projects.Oversee projects, administration of various programs, and processing functions as needed.Update database management systems with client contact and preference informationAssist advisors and associates with preparation and follow up for client meetings.Attend client meetings and take notes to ensure next steps, follow up tasks and meetings notes are properly documented. Research products, product pricing and contacting carriers for information.Answer basic questions for clients.Prepare necessary forms via DocuSign, GST or Thrivent Forms System for maintaining accounts, including money movement and complete applications to the point of signature for advisors to finalize and approve Provide fund values and answer securities, variable insurance and variable annuity product-related questions and/or questions related to investment advisory services.Collaborate with financial advisors and associates to assist clients to purchase, sell, hold or exchange securities productsHandle and document sensitive communications with clients, which may include highly confidential information and effectively respond through verbal or written communications to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.Conduct substantive research and information gathering that will be used with making securities product recommendations or providing investment advice (e.g. conducting due diligence, etc.)Obtain information including but not limited to financial and/or suitability for prospective or existing clientsAccept and/or enter securities trade orders from clients including unsolicited trade ordersSupport questions and transactions with variable insurance and annuities products.Additional responsibilities may be assigned in accordance with the needs of the business/team.

 Position Qualifications

Securities or insurance industry experience preferred.Must be securities registered (series 6/63, 7/63, 7/63/65 or 7/66).Must be insurance licensed/appointed.Must be securities registered and insurance licensed/appointed in all states in which Focus Financial Group is performing activities requiring licensing and registrationMust be willing to complete the appropriate Long Term Care training required in the states in which support work would be conducted.Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learn Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptionsAbility to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential informationBasic understanding of Thrivent Financial, our products and services
