Summary
As an MarketSource/LG Home Entertainment Trainer, your role is to equip our new and existing employees, the client and its’ customers with the requisite knowledge, skills, techniques, and motivation to perform at the highest level. Our Trainer is a teacher and must be able to lead groups virtually and in person, develop training materials for both internal teams and the client and collaborate closely with business leaders to assess training needs of the program.

This position requires 75% travel throughout the U.S.  Candidate must reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport.

Essential Job Functions:
•    Conduct instructor-led and virtual training, including:
o    Product training
o    Leadership and professional development classes
o    New employee orientation
o    Train-the-trainer sessions
•    Identify, design and customize training activities to incorporate into training for the specific class and learner needs
•    Leverage multi-media solutions to enhance learning experiences
•    Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to perform needs analysis and identify skill and knowledge gaps
•    Perform administrative tasks such as planning the training calendar, scheduling training events, and sending training feedback surveys
•    Communicate frequently and effectively with leadership and various project stakeholders to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables
•    Increase product knowledge and establish consistent LG Brand messaging that drives increase “sell-through” of LG products in retail accounts

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills
•    Excellent presentation and organizational skills 
•    Knowledgeable in interactive training, assessments, and evaluation 
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) 
•    Knowledge of adult learning principles
•    Proficient in Video Editing and Document creation software
•    Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
•    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Required Experience:
•    Minimum 2 years in Home Theater industry
•    Minimum 2 years of training experience in classroom setting

Preferred Experience/Skills
•    Associate degree or higher
•    Instructional design experience and/or certification
•    Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
