Summary

As an LG Home Entertainment Trainer, your role is to equip our new and existing employees with the requisite knowledge, skills, techniques, and motivation to perform at the highest level. Our Trainer is a teacher and must be able to virtually lead groups, develop training materials for both internal and external teams, and collaborate closely with business leaders to assess employees’ increased performance improvement. The Trainer must assess skills and knowledge within MarketSource to determine the curriculum required to strengthen and retain these skills. 

Essential Job Functions:Conduct instructor-led and virtual training, including:Sales trainingLeadership and professional development classesNew employee orientationTrain-the-trainer sessionsIdentify, design and customize training activities to incorporate into training for the specific class and learner needsLeverage multi-media solutions to enhance learning experiences.Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to perform needs analysis and identify skill and knowledge gaps.Perform administrative tasks such as planning the training calendar, scheduling training events, and sending training feedback surveys.Communicate frequently and effectively with leadership and various project stakeholders to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables.Collaborate with members of the Learning & Development Team as needed.Increase product knowledge and establish consistent LG Brand messaging that drives increase “sell-through” of LG products in retail accounts.Perform other duties as needed 
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent presentation and organizational skillsKnowledgeable in interactive training, assessments, and evaluation Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional team membersProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)Knowledge of adult learning principlesOpen to receiving and giving feedbackPossess a growth mindsetHigh energyProficient in Video Editing and Document creation softwareProficient in Adobe Creative CloudAbility to lift up to 50 lbsJob Requirements:

BA/BS degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
2-4 years of direct in-classroom training experience
·      Minimum 2 years in Home Theater industry

ATD Training Certificate a plus
Prior experience facilitating blended learning and/or flipped classrooms a plus
Ability to work in-person and virtually
Ability to travel 75% of the time. 
Must reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport.
Video editing experience, preferred.
