Block Part Time Sanitation

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role is PT Sanitation Rate ($24.20).

1st Shift (10:00AM – 3:00PM)

 

Summary Description: The employee is responsible for the sanitary condition of the entire Block Dept.

 

Job Description

At all times, operate in a manner consistent with safe operating procedures. Responsible for the safe and adequate sanitation of assigned equipment and area in the Block Department in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Responsible for the daily cleaning of conveyors and equipment in your assigned daily area. Maintain Master Sanitation logs and paperwork for respective area. Responsible for the daily cleaning and operation of footbaths and foot-foamers. Responsible for the safe retrieval of chemicals from allocation areas. Required to work on drains. Responsible for safe allocation of daily cleaning chemicals. Maintain Master Sanitation logs and paperwork for respective areas. Adhere to all Company and regulatory GMPs and PPE’s. Track and record daily chemical inventories. Communicate between, co-workers, departments and supervision as required. Must successfully complete JTPR and consistently perform work according to SOP. MES navigation and computer data entry (cheese sample results, cage load & unload tracking).  Perform other duties as assigned.

 

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

Knowledge of sanitary GMPs. Physical requirements to perform job as defined in the essential job function. Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions. Computer literacy.

Prefer some manufacturing experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities/Competencies:

Ability to speak, read, and write the English language. Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs. Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all applicable safety practices. Ability to work any shift, weekends, and holidays.

 

Working Relationships:

This position reports to the production Supervisor.
