About the Role

As a Practice Area Consultant, you will create preference and active-users in law schools and law firms in an assigned territory. You will will partner with the sales team to maximize contract renewals by ensuring the customer is receiving value from our products and service.
 

Responsibilities

Using consultative sales to increase active users and win preference with law firms and law schoolBuilding and leveraging relationships to uncover and create new opportunitiesListening to law firm customers and responding with product solutions and research paths to improve their work-life balanceDeveloping strategic account plans, recognizing sales opportunities, targeting specific sales activities, and analyzing competitor threatsPartnering with law firm client managers to overcome customer challenges and position them to close significant opportunitiesDelivering specialized customer presentations that communicate our value proposition and competitor differentiators to create new active usersTargeting, hiring, and managing hourly student workers to assist in the accomplishment of goals at law schools


Requirements

Have a Juris DoctorDemonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professional demeanor, business maturity, and technical knowledgeBe able to work as part of a team, accomplishing mutual team goalsBe able to perform day-time travel as needed to attend meetings and conduct trainings and other business at local law school and law firm accounts located in the greater Boston area (overnight travel limited to 2-4 nights/year)Demonstrate experience developing and executing on account plans and coordinating key stakeholders to positively impact clientsDemonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
