Legal Manager (Base: CABA)

Ecolab is looking for the next Legal Manager for Latin America South and Central America & Caribe.

Some of your activities will be:

-Preparation and management of corporate documents, such as powers of attorney, articles of association, minutes of board meetings and shareholders’ meetings, as well as resolutions required for strategic decisions. Support includes:

Management of Powers of Attorney: Oversee the term of powers of attorney and corporate documents across approximately 20 countries. We use Projuris/Hcue as the repository for these documents.

Approval Collection: Gather approvals for new powers of attorney, especially for banks, under Treasury policy.

Signatures: Assist in obtaining signatures and ensuring proper registration in Chambers of Commerce.

Document Distribution: Send copies of corporate documents requested by customers, suppliers, and internal clients.

Governance of External Law Firms:

Support in creating external law firms (Securimate + agreement)

Review and approve invoices monthly

Every quarter, send reports to Finance for the accrual of values (litigations)

Approximately 30 law firms to handle

Litigation:

Support in collecting labor, civil, and criminal claims in one platform, and data analytics (root causes and action plans)

Obtain documents, interface with functional areas (HR, Finance), involve witnesses, etc.

Define litigation strategies

Legal Operation: Draft local policies, establish workflows and procedures, and ensure their implementation.

Legal Consulting and Advisory for all functional areas: HR, Finance, SCH, Procurement, I-Trade, SHE, Regulatory.

Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree in Law,

- Previous experience leading Legal department,

- Previous experience in Multinationals.

- Advanced in English
