What We're Looking For:\n

We are seeking a Contracts Manager who is responsible for coordinating, implementing and monitoring the Agency's contract life cycle. The Manager will serve as the primary point of contact regarding Agency's contractual matters to ensure that contracts comply with Agency's policies and funder requirements. The Manager will also be responsible for maintaining a database to track contract status and renewal periods. This position will play a key role in working with the Agency's Chief Compliance Officer to proactively develop policies, procedures and systems to mitigate contractual risks. \n
\n

Key Responsibilities\n\nDraft, review and negotiate (if applicable) a wide variety of contractual-related documents including, but not limited to funding contracts, grants, vendor contracts, subcontracts, leases, releases, MOUs, programmatic agreements, work orders, amendments, and termination notices.\nEstablish a contract management system to regulate the contract process workflow.\nProvide training to staff on Agency's contract-related policies and procedures. \nServe as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters. \nMaintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to pending and executed contacts.\nCollaborate as necessary with internal stakeholders regarding Agency's procurement process and record retention system. \nAssist with insurance related tasks including applications and requests for COIs. \nAssist with corporate filings and record retention monitoring as requested by Supervisor.\nWorks on special projects as assigned.\n\n

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\n\nMust have a minimum of 5 years of experience in contract drafting with 2 years of that experience working in a corporate contracts or legal department.\nMinimum of 1 year supervisorial experience required.\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. A graduate degree in law, business administration, public administration, or a related field is preferred.\nKnowledge of contract law principles required.\nKnowledge of contract management systems or software preferred. \nAbility to prioritize workflow and adjust to changing deadlines.\nExhibit high attention to detail. \nAbility to work independently and manage projects until completion.\nMust have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate critical issues timely. \nAbility to maintain confidentiality, objectivity and impartiality.\nMust have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with tact and confidence.\n\n
