The Department of Sociology in the School of Social Sciences enjoys international reputation for outstanding teaching, research and public engagement. We are seeking to make two appointments at the level of Lecturer.


Brief Description

The Department is particularly interested in applicants with general knowledge of sociology and expertise in a range of subfields of sociology. The department strongly encourages applications from candidates who use theoretically innovative approaches to their research and have a high quality publication record, as well as who can teach and research across a range of sub-fields in the discipline, and including qualitative and quantitative methods.

Candidates must possess a PhD in Sociology or a related discipline; demonstrated research record, including publications in accredited journals and a proven teaching experience.
