They are part-time faculty members who are centered within a partnering, PK-12 school district. University Site Coordinators serve three major roles. Serve as (1) the liaison between the university and school district, (2) instructors for yearlong clinical teaching courses and mentor teacher trainings, and (3) supervisors and instructional coaches for their teacher candidates. Professional development will be required.
These positions will serve for fall and spring of the 2024-2025 academic year. Educational Requirements for the Position Requires a minimum of a Master’s degree in education or related field. Experience Required for the Position 3 years teaching experience in K-12 setting required.
Current teacher certification required.
Texas Administrative certification (principal or superintendent) preferred.
Effective educator as evidenced by student learning. Other Requirements for the Position Strong communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
