Job Title: Lecturer of Molecular Cell Biology--Spring 2025 Campus: Florham Campus, Madison, NJ Department: Department of Biological Sciences-Florham Hiring Manager: Edith Myers Hiring Manager Title: Chair College: Becton College Position Type: Faculty Grade: Faculty FLSA: Exempt Faculty Rank: Salary: Commensurate with Experience Status: Full-Time Months Worked: 9 Month Job Summary: The Maxwell Becton College of Arts & Sciences at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Florham Campus, seeks a broadly trained biologist for appointment to a lecturer position for the Spring 2025 semester. The successful candidate will develop and teach Molecular Cell Biology (lecture and labs), required for Biology and other science and pre-health majors. This position may extend to Fall 2025, depending upon budgetary approval. If extended, the successful candidate will develop and teach an upper-level lab course in their area of expertise and/or a general education laboratory course. Candidates with expertise in cellular and molecular biology will be considered, and expertise in developmental biology is highly encouraged. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biology or related discipline; postdoctoral research and teaching experience is preferred. Required Qualifications: • Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biology or related discipline. Teaching experience is preferred.· The successful candidate will teach courses to biology and non-biology majors, including laboratories.• Participate in curricular development and assist with learning assessment goals.• Develop and foster a collaborative environment with department faculty• Perform services for the Department, College, and Campus community.• Required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
