Job Summary: As a Learning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning initiatives within our organization. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and facilitating training programs that meet the diverse needs of our sales force. Your expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design will help create impactful learning experiences that drive performance, sales and engagement. The role comprises of 70% facilitation and 30% instructional design. This is an in office role.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning environment. Design and develop comprehensive learning programs and materials tailored to various learning styles and organizational needs. Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop relevant content. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously enhance our training offerings. Support our sales force in their professional development by providing coaching and guidance on learning resources and opportunities. Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Bilingual (French and English) strongly preferred. LLQP license to deliver insurance licensing support an asset. Proven experience in instructional design and facilitation of adult learning programs. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and various instructional methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners. Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Certification in instructional design or training (e.g., ATD, CPTD) is a plus.
