Learning Program Manager

Lenovo is looking for a talented and motivated program manager to influence the learning curricula and content that further enhances our customer experience culture. As a learning program manager, you will help grow our international service & support organization by creating and delivering product training programs that boost competency. Collaborating with various stakeholders to design and execute strategic learning programs.

The learning program manager will assess the needs of the business, implement training and development plans, and facilitate a wide variety of training and competency programs that enhance the effectiveness of our service & support teams. Responsibility for the program management of technical training including the production of digital learning assets on understanding and offering support on Lenovo’s family of intelligent device products, services, CRM systems, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Research and analyze the needs of internal service & support teams, and geography stakeholders to determine the knowledge and competencies requiredCoordinate with service & support leaders to define and manage the outcomes associated with the learning programsProject manage the entire lifecycle of the learning programs from initiation, design, development, maintenance, support, and retirementWork with key partners to develop a strategic vision of collaboration and executionBuild and implement the strategy that will support growth objectivesStrong understanding of business objectives and strategically aligned training programsManage relationships and communication with all relevant stakeholdersApply expertise and knowledge of industry standards and benchmarking to learning programsImplement and maintain communications with leadership, stakeholders, and partners

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, adult learning, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of project management and/or program management experience3+ year of instructional design or product trainingDemonstrated ability to drive initiatives with global teams and across functionsExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, complemented with creative thinkingComfortable working in a fast-growing environment, while adapting to and introducing changeAbility to build relationships and to influence others to get results Persistence and creativity to persevere through obstaclesAbility to manage timelines, milestones, and deadlinesStrong understanding of the technology industry and business context

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in instructional design or adult learningExtensive knowledge of instructional design theory and modern training techniquesKnowledge of learning management systems and eLearning technologiesProven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
