**Learning & Performance** **Manager**
At Amgen Breda, we handle everything from labeling and assembling medicines to storage and shipment across various countries worldwide. Every day, more than 1000 people from 42 different nationalities work together on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing, sales and clinical research to deliver life-changing treatments. Your role is part of our local affiliate where we work with a team of 100 professionals to serve patients in the Netherlands.

**What you will do**
As the Learning & Performance Manager, you will be part of the Customer Capabilities team. You will be at the forefront of enhancing the learning, performance and capabilities of our field staff, including Account Managers, Consultants & Healthcare Partners in our Dutch Affiliate. Your role will drive strategic learning and development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
You will provide hands-on coaching to field staff, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in their roles. With a focus on both performance coaching and effectiveness, you will support their growth through tailored development programs and practical experience.

In this vital role you will:
+ Assess and provide guidance, on the performance of Account Managers, Consultants, & Healthcare Partners (as dotted line manager), working closely with our Franchise Team Leads, Medical and Value Access & Policy.
+ Identify training needs and performance gaps through detailed assessments, feedback and data-driven insights.
+ Coach and train field staff to enhance their ability to effectively communicate the value of our medicines. This includes understanding of patient journeys and care paths and improving their engagement with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
+ Coach & train field staff to improve customer capabilities and business skills (i.e. Strategic account planning, analyzing territory & define strategy to optimize Amgen’s and our customers’ success).
+ Develop and advise on learning and performance strategies, identifying opportunities for improvement and coaching cross-functional staff to optimize client-facing capabilities.
+ Work with your Customer Capabilities teammembers,with franchise teams and with global teams to implement performance metrics, processes and learning initiatives, incorporating AI and digital tools to boost efficiency and impact.
+ Facilitate team development and act as a partner with Human Resources in people leadership development programs.

**What we expect of you**
We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The professional we seek is an experienced forward-thinking professional. Your qualifications include:
+ A background in performance coaching with at least 3–5 years of experience in a coaching or managerial capacity.
+ A background in commercial sales with at least 3 years of experience in a client-facing role, such as Key Account Manager or Product Specialist.
+ Ability to understand client-needs and to translate them into actionable strategies, using data and insights (outside-in thinking). Strong leadership and change management skills.
+ Excellent communication and motivational skills.
+ Solid training and facilitation skills.
+ Fluency in Dutch is required to effectively engage with local stakeholders, clients, and healthcare professionals.
+ Knowledge of and experience in instructional design, learning principles and new technologies to enhance capabilities.
