Learning & Development Specialist, Customer Service
Overview Job Summary This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated training professional who is enthusiastic about customer service and training. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to equip customer service agents with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles. This position requires a strong emphasis on instructional design to create and maintain effective, interactive, and engaging training content tailored to the needs of the business and its learners. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: · Deliver training sessions on customer service, systems, processes and soft skills, ensuring alignment with company objectives and standards. · Design and develop instructional materials (e.g., e-learning modules, workshops, and job aids) that are engaging, interactive, and aligned with adult learning principles. · Conduct training needs analyses to identify skill gaps and recommend learning solutions. · Use instructional design models (such as ADDIE, Kirkpatrick or Bloom's Taxonomy) to create effective training programs. · Facilitate interactive, learner-focused sessions that encourage engagement and knowledge retention. · Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics such as participant feedback, learning assessments, and performance improvements. · Collaborate with key stakeholders, including team leaders and subject matter experts to ensure training meets operational needs. Qualifications Candidate Profile · Proven experience as a Trainer, Learning & Development Specialist, or Instructional Designer. · Strong expertise in instructional design, with experience using tools like Articulate 360, Canva, or similar. · Capable of operating in an ever-changing, project-driven environment with a strong sense of customer journey impact and able to adjust training and instructional materials accordingly. · Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks. · Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills. · Strong communication and presentation skills with diverse experience working with internal and external customers in both live and virtual environments · Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs and measure outcomes. · Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. · A certification in instructional design or adult education (e.g., ATD, CIPD) is a plus. · Excellent command of the English language · Detail oriented and have a strong sense of ownership needing minimal supervision · Have a growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning · Working knowledge of various client facing software Foot Locker Europe.com is entitled to assign other duties than those associated with the position as described above, if such would be in the best interest of the Company.
