In this role the intern will have the opportunity to learn about lean manufacturing practices, flow and layout optimization using lean tools (such as Gemba walks, Kaizen event, structured problem solving, standard work etc.) and measure improvement actions and KPI.Job Description

Essential Responsibilities
Analyze value stream map of critical programs (Lead time, Inventory, Cost, Takt Time)Support pull strategy methodology for WIP and Raw materials (Kanban, twin bin, visual management)Sustain the implementation of Pull Dashboard in the shopfloorParticipation in the Daily Operating Rhythm (CCC, PCC)Analyze consumables stock at point of useOptimize the internal logistics of materials using Lean toolsSustain and consolidate best practices and standards workSupport the implementation of 5S Methodology in the shopfloorUse of office + SAP packageQualification/Requirements
Master’s Degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace, Mechanical, Energy, Material or Management Engineering from an accredited University;English and Italian fluency, written and verbal;PC Proficiency (Excel, Power Point, Visio);Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology;Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions;Ability to manage activities simultaneously;EU Work Permit.Desired Characteristics
