POSITION SUMMARY:

Trusted primary problem solver to the Plant Manager on the subject of Lean Management practices, at the level of a plant operating system.  Emerging influencer among the Tier 4 staff, coaching and directly participating in establishing the processes, tools, and management disciplines to deploy a lean management operating system in the plant or operational equivalent. Leader of Training and Continuous Improvement efforts throughout the plane.  Provide visible, high energy personal leadership in the drive to deploy lean culture and lean process improvements, along with training, development and CI.

Serve as primary coach and engaged working partner with plant manager and Tier 3 staff members to cultivate a Lean Management culture. Actively deploy and leverage Lean Management practices and disciplines, including, but not limited to, Strategy Deployment, OKRs, Tiered Management, A3 Process, Toyota Kata, MDI, and similar tools and structures Provide visible, high energy, and inspiring leadership in the drive to deploy lean culture and lean process improvements across all levels of the organization, with focus on Tier 3 level and below.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Consultative skills and methods to align strategies and design/deploy effective training and development solutions to elevate and accelerate team performance.Use of measurement methods to ensure program efficacy.Training and development design and deploy skills to ensure accessibility for all learners.Strong facilitation skills. (We require all final candidates to facilitate a 15-minute presentation in a mock, onsite classroom environment with virtual observers.)Develop and maintain a detailed working model of the key value streams and supply chain processes (physical manufacturing processes, information flow processes, and related business processes) that govern the operational performance of the plant. Prioritize and elevate visibility of larges value stream improvement opportunities for the plant. Establish a playbook of strategic priorities to support mid-term and long-term business objectives and operational targets for the plant. Personally lead low complexity Kaizen events to realize most impactful value stream improvement opportunities for meeting operational performance targets and strategic business objectives of the plant.Minimum Requirements:  

Bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum 3 years professional experience

Preferred experience as a plant operations or engineering professional

Perform in a tactful, professional, and flexible manner with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and opinions with a strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Strategic thinking and change management capabilities

Drive results through persuasiveness and influencing skills; organize self and others with timely follow through and execution

Facilitation and project management skills.

Build highly effective relationships, develop people, and create high-performing teams.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
